Client Success Manager
Location: Toronto, Ontario
Reports to: Director, Programmatic Development
Position Overview
The Xaxis Client Success Manager is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day campaign activity for all clients within their assigned agency teams. You will help grow strategic relationships and new business opportunities within world-class media agencies. You will be a thought leader and strategic thinker, helping to evangelize the Xaxis product suite amongst your peers within GroupM agencies. And you will be responsible for developing deep relationships with advertisers and agencies to ensure optimal adoption and retention.

Duties
- Establish a respectful relationship with agency team
- Own relationship with agency planners and investment. Meeting regularly to get deeper understanding of client business needs
- Proactively identify and solve client risks before they escalate
- A deep knowledge of the programmatic industry: pros and cons of key platforms, understanding of sources of inventory (exchange, PMP, Deal, Programmatic Guaranteed)
- Understanding of the key attributes, value, and capabilities of key platforms (DSPs) such as Dv360, The Trade Desk, Xandr and Amazon
- Advocate the value of Xaxis both internally and externally. Monitor industry and advertiser trends, competitive landscape, and help identify risks to business, taking pre-emptive action to mitigate
Responsibilities
- Ability to guide and explain programmatic best practices, selecting the right business outcomes and objectives.
- Demonstrates the ability to have strategic conversations around growing and evolving the client’s business in an ever changing landscape
- Understanding client’s business needs and objectives. Proactively brings new ideas/projects/updates to the agencies relevant to their clients.
- Demonstrate ability to participate and share ideas in client meetings, calls and presentations.
- Demonstrates ability to foster relationships with junior and mid-level employees at the agencies – positions themselves internally as a thought leader for their respective accounts.
- Has a deep understanding of the Xaxis offering and solutions and can explain this to agencies and clients.
- Ensure communication around the health of a campaign and optimizations are provided to the agency/client
- Demonstrates the ability to explain programmatic concepts
- Provide detailed account analysis and ensure our advertisers are satisfied with their performance goals
Required Skills
- Ability to operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your accounts
- Know how to build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
- Understanding of project management, prioritizing work and multitasking across your client accounts.
- Comfortable leading internal and external meetings in a professional manner
- Excellent business sense, problem solving and analytical skills
- Demonstrate professional business communication skills (written and verbal).
- Clear track record of building relationships with internal and external teams
- Has an understanding of and can evangelize for Xaxis core business and client objectives.
- Ability to navigate ad-server (ie: CM) and pull required reports
- Ability to navigate MOAT, IAS, Double Verify and pull required reports
- Ability to think strategically and analyze the needs of clients
- Ability to take complex solutions and make them simple to explain and digest
