- Calf feeding and care
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
- Follow animal bio-security procedures
- Detect disease and health problems in livestock
- Set and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns
- Maintain or assist in the maintenance of facilities and farm infrastructure including cleaning barns, barnyards and pens.
Specific Skills: Must be able to operate farm equipment
Language of work: English; Sufficient English required to take instruction due to operation of equipment.
Hours: 40 – 50 hrs/week
Benefit Package: After 1 year of service, employees receive $500/year toward dental/medical costs
Location of work: 3630 Sand Road, Chilliwack BC, V2R 5G7
Education: No formal education required
