    We are looking for a highly motivated Administrative Assistant to join our Finance team in Toronto. In this role, you will support the VP Finance, Directors and the North American Accounting team on a variety of administrative tasks including but not limited to coordinating and maintaining business calendars, scheduling travel arrangements, screening correspondence and responding independently when possible.

    As a member of this team, you will be responsible for:
    Working closely with the VP, Directors and the team and keeping them informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities.

    Compiling and distributing monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages.

    Preparing financial reports and other documents and coordinating the receipt of reporting information.

    Assisting in the preparation, editing and publishing of presentations in electronic form and hard copy when required.

    Formatting and proof reading financial statements for accuracy.

    Making travel arrangements, organize meetings and social events.

    Participating in monthly and year end accruals.

    Preparing correspondence, direct phone calls, photocopy, file etc.

    Controlling all record keeping and process invoices and expenses utilizing MS Office and JD Edwards

    Other duties/special projects as assigned.

    To succeed in this role, you have:
    Possess a University degree (Business Administration or related discipline preferable)

    Have at least 3 years’ of well-developed experience in an administrative role ideally in a Finance/Accounting department.

    Have superior organizational skills coupled with the ability to manage multiple changing priorities.

    Are self-sufficient, organized and have a “can do” attitude.

    Will demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills coupled with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels.

    Will demonstrate the ability to prioritize, multi-task, work independently and work as part of a team.

    Experience in creating and maintaining intranet websites is an asset.

    Are proficient in MS Office.
