HME Home Health Ltd. ( is a leading industry supplier of home & institutional care medical equipment and assistive devices such as wheelchairs and other mobility aids. HME is a fast-growing company, with over 100 full time staff, with offices located in Richmond, South Surrey, Victoria, Nanaimo and two new facilities located in North Vancouver and Kelowna opening in Fall 2022. We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Administrative Assistant to join our Surrey location.


This position will supports HME’s sales team. We are looking for a motivated, task-oriented individual who can work independently with minimal supervision. Compensation includes a competitive salary and we provide a friendly team-orientated environment.


Hours for this role are full-time Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm. HME offers a competitive wage along with a full benefits package inclusive of extended medical benefits.


Key Responsibilities

  • Will work in a team with a Senior Sales team member on all clients.
  • Coordinating appointments, managing calendar and schedule
  • Liaising with therapists on deliveries and orders.
  • Assisting with any sales events as required.
  • Helping with chair setups and adjustments as required
  • Assisting with quotes for clients
  • Arranging trials and paperwork and following up on overdue trials
  • Handling orders and following up on purchase orders
  • Assisting the front desk as required by the Sales Manager
  • Attending and organizing in services and trade shows
  • Assisting the Sales Manager and VP of Sales & Product with any special projects as required
  • Preparing and organizing paperwork for deliveries/sales/support services.
  • Following up with our Sales Representatives regarding product details
  • May require minor lifting of inventory up to 40 lbs.


Required Skills:

  • Strong communication skills; fluent in English (both verbal and written).
  • Strong computer skills (fast)- must be comfortable with MS Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Outlook, Word, & Excel
  • Multi-tasking and hardworking
  • Must have a friendly, positive attitude and have the ability to have fun while working in a fast-paced environment.
