Position Overview:

Reporting to the Director, Technology Solution Sales, the Customer Solutions Architect will be responsible for driving technology and Performance Solutions Sales within the Construction industry within Alberta and Saskatchewan.
This role will be responsible to revolutionize our industry and Finning’s customer experience by delivering innovative new technology solutions which will improve productivity and safety while lowering operating costs for our customers.
The Customer Solutions Architect is an opportunity to make measurable impact on transforming our business by driving market demands and revenue growth for performance solutions such as remote control, telematics, condition monitoring, and fleet management.
As digital technologies, data, and analytics are now being actively utilized to bring new technology solutions to the construction industry, Finning is making substantial investments to accelerate the adoption and development of technologies which will drive significant ROI for our customers’ fleets. This role will play a key strategic role in the success of these technologies, our customers, and Finning.

Job Description:
Major Job Functions:
  • Develop a deep understanding of our customer businesses. Use this knowledge to develop technology and performance solutions to help them achieve their goals.
  • Create comprehensive customer solutions that encompass all relevant needs such as hardware installation, subscriptions, contracts and training.
  • Build a contact network within the Finning organization to facilitate the identification for customer opportunities.
  • Working with the broader technology and performance solutions team ensure that customer projects are handed off seamlessly for implementation.
  • Contribute to customer account management plans and strategic opportunity documentation to ensure that the Finning organization understands our customers requirements.
  • Represent Finning technology and performance solutions at customer events, demonstrations and other venues as required.

  • Current and new technological advancement in the heavy equipment industry

  • Experience and understanding of the work our customers perform
  • Clear vision and understanding of the benefits of using technology
Accountability:
  • Meet Technology and performance solutions growth objectives
  • Identify and grow new and existing customer relationships
  • “Selling the house” with Finning Technology products
  • Deliver best in class alignment with Sales process standards
Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a relatable field of work – Eg. Using technology in the construction industry
  • Minimum of 10 years Sales Experience, preferably with technology solution sales
