Our proprietary technology successfully demonstrates our capabilities within the same range as expert human readers, improving cardiovascular health through excellence in imaging as an integral part of precision medicine.In early 2021, we have received a significant investment from the Canadian government’s Western Diversification Program (WDP) as recognition for our position “as the world leader in cardiovascular imaging.” With the highest priority in excellence, our products and services are truly changing the world, allowing healthcare providers to give more precise care to patients.Currently, Circle CVI is looking for an HR Generalist to join our team in a full-time work model (remote and in office) in our headquarters in Calgary, Alberta.About the OpportunityAs our new HR Generalist, you will:
      • Act as a first point of contact for employee inquiries as they relate to all HR functions
      • Coordinate full-cycle recruitment including assisting hiring managers with the development of job descriptions, job postings, screening, scheduling interviews, interviewing, reference checks, offer letters and employment agreements, and the full onboarding process including equipment setup, new hire documentation, benefits enrollment, etc.
      • Generate and manage employee documentation as it relates to new hires and existing staff paperwork
      • Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies
      • Maintains in-depth knowledge of regional employment requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required
      • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)
      • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
      • Generate and maintain regular reporting of HR metrics and reports including vacancies, new hires, turn over, etc.
      • Administer all employee benefit programs for the Canadian and US Employee base
      • Assist with employee performance review process as required
      • Maintain employee training logs/records
      • Assist with editing and creating human resources related communications content including company announcements, presentations, forms, training materials, etc.
      • Assist with HR related audits both internally and externally as requested by QMS
      • Deliver new hire orientation to new hires
      • Conduct salary surveys for a variety of positions and job levels to determine appropriate compensation bands
      • Assist with policy development as existing policies require review and revision, as well as developing new policies as needed
      • Other projects as required that may require market and employment standard research for various regions

      About You

      • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
      • 3+ years of progressive HR experience
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
      • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
      • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies
      • Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization’s hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors
      • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
      • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareAbility to work in a fast paced, and changing corporate environment
      • High degree of initiative, diplomacy, and discretion
      • Works independently yet strong HR team player
      • Knowledge of various regional employment standards and avenues for seeking related information
      • Experience in a medical or pharmaceutical company is considered an asset
      • Global HR experience is considered an asset
