The Role

As a Services Sales Consultant (SSC), you will work side by side with account executives, the customer value team, and your services colleagues to ensure customers achieve their strategic goals and realize significant value using the innovative Celonis platform. You will leverage your deep experience leading software implementations as well as your expert knowledge of Celonis to inspire customer trust and confidence. You will be responsible for, on a per-customer basis, defining service strategy, evangelizing that services strategy, and winning new services business. Additionally, you will work closely with the partner ecosystem to ensure successful collaboration that delivers customer value, quickly. In this role, you will be responsible for meeting or exceeding regional services revenue growth and customer success targets. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Regional Director of Professional Services.


The Work You’ll Do

  • Partner with the Celonis software sales team on new business opportunities throughout the opportunity lifecycle, which includes:
    • Supporting request for information (RFI) and request for proposal (RFP) response development
    • Participating in sales meetings with prospects to help identify key customer outcomes and requirements
    • Educating prospects on Celonis services solutions and benefits while responding to questions and making recommendations
    • Contributing to an overall solution design and professional services implementation roadmap
  • Collaborate with the Customer Value team on existing account expansion strategy by assisting with the following:
    • Participating in internal account planning and strategy sessions to define the services solution
    • Identifying opportunities for the professional services team to help drive overall expansion and/or contract renewal
    • Operate as a trusted advisor to customer stakeholders to help identify challenges and propose solutions utilizing Celonis
  • Own the end to end execution of the services’ sales process:
    • Collaborate with the Customer and internal teams to define scope, assumptions, and responsibilities accurately to ensure alignment across all teams including customer, Celonis resources, and partners
    • Creation of the statement of work, estimating model, and resource plan for Celonis services engagements
    • Working with other services leads to validate the calculated scope and estimation to ensure delivery alignment
    • Documenting scope, assumptions, and responsibilities accurately to ensure alignment across all teams
    • Facilitating the required internal review processes and execution by the customer
    • Accurately forecast pipeline opportunities for service engagement
    • Support the sales to delivery handover process to ensure a smooth transition from the sales cycle to the implementation phase
  • Participate in the continuous improvement lifecycle to improve service offerings, go-to-market materials, and execution

The Skills You Need

  • Experience scoping, positioning and selling professional services at C-level (CFO, CPO, COO…)
  • Experience delivering measurable business outcomes through the implementation of enterprise level software solutions
  • Ability to contribute to varied sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
  • Have proven experience working with Partners, i.e. Consulting firms and Enterprise Tech
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-moving, ever-changing, high growth environment and approach challenges with positivity, creative thinking, and a growth mindset
