Avesdo’s OffPlan is an online marketplace for managing real estate inventory to be discovered and purchased in a secure environment through purchase / reservations online.     We’re looking for a People & Culture Coordinator who is well versed and passionate about employee experience, people administration, company culture and supporting the organization’s growth. As a team player, with a go-getter attitude and not afraid to roll up their sleeves, you will shepherd candidates through our interview process to ensure every candidate has an exceptional experience. You will also be a champion of our culture of learning, ownership, and innovation. While executing administrative and operational duties, you will also help the team scale and improve our internal processes. Those who know you have described you as empathetic and innovative, and you would describe yourself as obsessed with detail and process-driven.

    What you’ll be doing:

    • Support in the management of initiatives throughout an employee’s lifecycle including hiring, onboarding, performance, learning & development, compliance, benefits administration, offboarding and general policies
    • Support our employer branding efforts – creating content for social media and attend recruiting events (job fairs & networking) to source talent and build a pipeline
    • Manage the recruitment process, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience – screening, communications, scheduling
    • Gather and analyze metrics on effectiveness of recruiting plans and strategies
    • Develop and administer programs for new employee onboarding, team and culture-building, performance development, and employee engagement
    • Be a first point-of-contact for employee questions regarding benefits, systems, company programs and policies
    • Manage day-to-day operational and administrative components of the HR function and multiple projects in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial team
    • Support policy implementation and compliance engaging stakeholders, managers, and employees

    Who we are looking for:

    • 2+ years of HR/People Operations Generalist experience in a startup environment with evolving organizational needs
    • Experience with projects focused on enhancing the employee experience for remote and distributed teams
    • Love working with people in a fun and driven workplace
    • Data-driven and love utilizing technology to make decisions
    • Self-starter with the ability to solve problems
    • Can-do, professional, upbeat attitude as well as the ability to maintain grace under pressure
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
    • Attention to detail in all areas of responsibility
    • Working understanding of HR principles and practices
    • Have a post-secondary degree in Human Resources or related program
    • Familiarity working with an Applicant Tracking System, particularly JazzHR
